Summer is just around the corner! We're getting ready for the warmer months by building heat with a few of our favorite yoga poses.

Check out our roundup of the top 3 yoga poses to stretch, tone, and strengthen.

CHAIR POSE

Benefits: Tone your legs and strengthen your torso and lower back, while giving your immune system a boost by stimulating the diaphragm and heart.

Beginner's Tip: Use a wall as your support to help guide you into chair pose. Stand a few inches a way and gently bend the knees until your tailbone touches the wall.

UPWARD FACING DOG POSE

Upward Facing Dog Pose

Benefits: Sit at a desk all day? This pose is for you. Open your chest and strengthen your back in updog to help counterbalance the slump often experienced when sitting at a desk.

Beginner's Tip: Bring more weight into your legs by dropping to your knees and lowering down to your mat before moving into the backbend.

EAGLE POSE

Eagle Pose

Benefits: Talk about testing your balance! Eagle pose challenges your focus while strengthening your arms, legs, knees, and ankles. Consistent practice also aids in stress relief and improves confidence.

Beginner's Tip: Hooking your raised-leg behind your standing-leg takes time and practice. If you're just getting started, press the big toe of the raised-leg foot against the floor to help maintain your balance.
